Day 2 - Hot Hot Hot

Morning -
I woke this morning quite dehydrated Blaa!
Drank some water first thing and felt better. One of my goals to add a lot more pure water throughout my day.

I made a really nice smoothie this morning:

1 cup Blueberries, raspberries, nectarines (mixed)
1/2 Organic Pineapple
1 cup Baby Spinach
24 oz Pure Water
6 Grapefruit Ice Cubes <----- Yummy :)

Speaking of goals......
One of the things that I find difficult is to organize the things that I want to do and gather them all in one place. I hope to do that here and really help myself "gel" my desires with my Raw lifestyle.

In no particular order:
  • Water intake
  • Skin Brushing
  • Use All natural household products and makeup
  • Swimming and Exercise
  • Green Smoothies
  • Eliminate Salt Craving
  • Weight Issues
  • Bowel Cleansing Issues
  • Organize Kitchen and Purchase Equipment
  • Be Consistent with Eating and Blogging
  • Make a difference to others
  • Truly live my RAW life
The one thing that I am working on is to reprogram myself from excess. Even wonderful fresh raw food can be over done. Quantities have always been an issue for me and even though directly replacing Raw for SAD, I still consume far to much for my bodies needs and I am working on listening to my body tell me when enough is enough.
One thing that has helped me so much is taking a few moments to sit outside in my chair (reclines) and just relax and listen. The sky, wind, birds, children, the camp next door with this weeks band camp ( horns and woodwinds - Awesome), the sun on the bottom of my feet. I just take a few minutes and let myself tune out everything and I try and soothe my body and mind for a bit.

I would like to Blog morning and evening and that is my goal, we will see how it goes.
