There are sometimes when I see something and it touches me. It can be something very simple that I see every day or it can stand out in my mind as something very special. I walked outside tonight to put something on my porch and I looked up and the stars were out so bright. Had to stop for a second and take them in. Left me feeling lighter in heart and grateful for them.
I want to focus on the good things that I have. They so many times get cast aside and it really is such a sad thing.. I mean what is not wonderful about sitting on a porch swing holding hands with someone special. Isn't that what songs used to be written about? I want to keep my life simple. There is no shame in a simple life well lived. Not sure who said that but I believe it is true.
