The Sun was shining so hot today. I walked outside and it greeted me with a WAKE UP! I sat in my chair on the deck and sipped my chilled watermelon juice. Delightful. I sat there and felt pretty good except that my monthly Moon cycle is approaching and I am feeling a bit offish. I pondered the Sun and the Moon.
Went out shopping for greens and fresh corn and ran into a whopper thunder/lighting storm.
Hail and raindrops as big as nickels fell. The water came up nearly to the top of my tires. Made it home safely and looked at the Thermometer, it said 68. When I left my house it was 99. As I carried in my green goodies I wondered what a marvel the human body is. A 31 degrees difference in temperature and my body just took care of adjusting for me, just amazing.
The sun just popped out again through the dark clouds and pinpointed some of the lush greenery outside it almost looked like a painting.
I want my moments to be filled with gentle thoughts. I want to really enjoy simplicity. There is time enough for busy and doing.
Wonder if the stars will be out tonight :)
